Currently Artist in Residence with Leamington Music. Exhibition of related work May 2009 in the Annexe of the Royal Pump Rooms, Leamington Spa.
Musicians performing, how they communicate with each other and their audience through the music as been a long standing fascination, since a weekend of Haydn String Quartets at the Barbican in 1988.
My paintings attempt to reflect the experience of listening to a piece of music, evoking the mood through use of colour and marks. Recently the audience is included as it clearly plays an important part for the musicians.
